What we've been up to!

Popsicles in the bath. I'm scoring some major mom points on this one. It's a win for me as well, no clean up!

An after bedtime date. The girls feel asleep and we ordered ourselves the best and closest take out food we have. Wing stop. It was so great, I loved our little set up. We watched Ice age exchanged foot massages and then crashed.

Window watching. We had our first white Christmas as a family of four and it hasn't truly left. I love looking out the window to crisp endless shades of white. Clean and happy. I've even caught myself wishing the snow could stay all year long (or at least until we move out of our rental house!) so that I don't have to look at the exposed dirt that's in replace of the grass in my back yard.
Hot coco. We keep trying different recipes and the girls love it! It's such a fun treat before bedtime, all cozy in Jammie's.

A new shared room! Raygan was terrified of her old room. Literally terrified, she had some bad dreams and then refused to sleep in there. Therefore we decided to convert her room into a playroom and put both their beds and all their (miles and miles) of clothes. They were so excited to sleep in the same room and Raygan broke out in song singing "trueeee sisters....forever friendsss" from Sophia the First. Talk about perfect timing! So far she has slept perfectly in her room for 3 nights now. And 2 out of three of those nights they ended up in the same bed. I died. I just love them.

Please exuse the messy beds and cell phone pic!
I think I may do a tour of the room in a seperate post.
If anyone is interested!

  3. I love the stripes!! And the old beds. And all of it! :) We are getting ready to paint around here, and I've been toying with the idea of putting stripes in Jordan's room.
I think everything about this post is fantastic!
