He is the youngest on the team, and I think the only one with kids. yay. I totally thought there would be more mamas so that was a tad of a downfall. But this is our new "family" now so its going to be fun!
After his tournament this weekend (they came in first) they announced to us he had to be initiated, my first thought was you've got to be kidding me, we are not in high school. Then I realized these are a bunch of twenty something dudes...duh. So we (and when I say we I ment the hubbs) begged his dad to watch the girls because he didnt want to go alone. Initiation ended up being a nasty shot of fireball dropped in keystone. Keystone...Seriously? We haven't drank anything but Corona up in here for years. Well he did it and now we can say that is done.
Sunday, oh Sunday was just like it was supposed to be. Lazy. Burger take out. And a rock and mineral show. Raygan enjoyed the mineral show literally pointing out every single pink rock in her sight.
That about sums up our weekend, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend as well :)
i'm new to your blog and a new follower! sounds like you guys had a great weekend :)

Hey thanks for finding my blog! I love that your hubs tried out for a softball team. I've been trying to get my husband to join a mens team too. He used to do it in college and loved it. I secretly want him to wear his old tight baseball pants, lol. Now I'm curious where you guys are located. We are down near Tacoma. I think I might convince him to try out for one next year, especially if there are other dads on the team!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a rock and mineral show, but sounds like something my son would enjoy. I love lazy weekends...those are the best kind.
