Obligatory List of Resolutions

I'm going to spare you the details that are going on in my home as of yet simply to pull them out on a day I'm needing a real pat on the back because let me tell you, this shits good. Tonsillectomy recovery and a reoccurring sickness in a three year old to give you a sneak peek. And I'll mention now that I'm lacking sleep, and I'm one glass deep in some delicious pink wine.

Anywho, it's a new year. Duh. this passed year has been without a doubt the busiest, craziest, most eventful year of my life and I'm hoping to top that this year. Not in the crazy business kind of way, in the memory making kind.
The idea of a fresh start and new beginnings has always been appealing to be, that may be why I fancy New Years so much. This year we laid low with sick kids, a bottle of wine and some corona for the mr. We were surrounded by an entire block of neighbors who set off fireworks, so we stayed inside and enjoyed them from underneath fuzzy blankets.
I've never been that great at resolutions, I feel like if I tell myself not to do something....it's setting me up for failure. So this year I'll be a tad more positive and vague in my resolutions.

So here goes my obligatory list of resolutions!
-put more effort into my relationships. All of them.
-read more, to the girls and myself
-time management.
-return to school.
-blog more.
-swear less.
-cook more and stop being afraid to discover new recipes.

-discover a new hobby.

  5. I appreciate you sharing this! It's so nice to see a happy looking family. I'm not married yet, but I really hope that when I do, and when I have kids that my family can be this happy. Thank you for sharing this, and for your example. I hope everything goes well for you and family!
