Life with Three

I’m a mom of three? That sentence is still quite hard to digest even with Roury totally completing this little family of ours. Anywho, I always love the “life with 2” or in my case “life with 3” posts. I find them intriguing.

This transition has been much much easier than anticipated. Roury has eased into this household perfectly, making it easy on the girls by not crying. Like ever. She did however scream pretty loudy after her second billi and PKU screen...and for a second I thought, oh wow, her lungs really do work, she is a baby!

We've been having a good time laying low and trying to form somewhat of a routine between the thanksgiving madness. I’ve nearly forgotten all the goodness that comes along with a newborn and this little nugget has brought it all back to me. The want to snuggle a her all day, and the two day in a row pants with spit up on them come first in my mind. Shes unbelievably perfect and we are enjoying her in every way.

Shes nearly held all day between the four of us. Both Raygan and Remy just sit and hold her for long amounts at a time. It's unreal to be honest and melts a mamas heart when you see your middle child fall asleep holding her baby sister. And thats what she is referred to as “my baby seester”

Remy has obviously grown up in front of all of our eyes, and neither girl has crept into our room in the wee hours of the night since we brought her home from the hospital. I've ventured out once since then to Target (duh) after the girls photos and they were all perfect, no meltdowns or anything. I was terrified, but they rocked it even after a long time in a studio taking pictures.

We've spent our days baking cookies and eating to much cookie batter. They've painted nearly every morning and we've had a couple killer dance parties. We've began the Christmas crafts and Ive managed to get all of our laundry and some Christmas shopping done.

We've decorated for Christmas and picked out a stellar tree! Raygan was very adamant about which tree she wanted, and girlfriend got her tree. Sighh.. Our stockings are hung and there are a ton of christmas-y scents goin on in this household.

Our Thanksgiving went well, we visited Camerons dad, then later his mom that evening. I dropped a pie on the front seat of my car and that just thrilled Cameron for sure, other than that everything went smoothly.

I need wipes already and I’m not sure what the hell we're going to do about dinner but we're snuggled up inside and super cozy. oh and I lost my phone, LOST IT. The worst part is I know its in my house somewhere...its been two days......
