Our Day

It's weird to write about it! Im not even sure where to begin. I've been in hibernation this entire week soaking in my family. I'm full of nostalgia and in complete bliss.
Cell phone picture.
I cant wait to go through all 1000 photos that my best friends took
because I have yet to do so.

It was the best day ever. Literally. I've never been so happy, nor have I ever witness cameron so happy. It was simply perfect. I loved seeing him so happy, that was my  favorite thing about our day, was seeing the most genuine smile on his face and knowing it had a little something to do with me. His smile never faded, nor did mine.  It was absolutely and everything i'd imagined-and some.

It was beautiful and everything went incredibly smoothly. We kept to schedule with the exception of the groom arriving 15 mins late-and once again I've never been so unbelievably happy.

My girls were amazing and the cutest ever. Tears were shed and helicopters hovered. (Worst timing ever) It was so surreal to me that I didn't cry until it was just us two in the hotel room later that night.

I feel like we were able to enjoy the moment, but even so, it was the fastest day of my life. We stepped away for ten minutes during the reception to take sunset photos (that I'm oh so excited for) and looking back that was great and so appreciated. We took it in, and we're able to breath and for that time it was just us.

I danced more then I expected (especially for having zero drinks in my system) and tried to mingle with everyone. We were surrounded by the best of company and it truly was a fabulous time. We've heard time and time again this week how it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and I'm not going to disagree.

Along with happiness, our girls! Our girls have never been so happy, so great, and so excited! Ill never forget raygans face as she was watching us dance our first dance, and the way remy was dancing all night long.

We moved to the hotel where more drinks were poured and later the Sherif got called to shut the party down-mind you this was a very small town. Cameron escorted rowdy friends to their rooms and then the rest of the night was ours.

I'm so thankful for the help from everyone! It was quite the production and I'm still basking in it.

I have hundreds of photos to go through thanks to my two crazy friends-and not to mention the photographers photos that will come sooner then later. I can not wait.

Obsessions and some Madness

I squeezed in family pictures this week and I’m seriously so excited to see what she comes up with! Don't ask me why I even attempted to add that to our schedule but it worked! It was originally going to be just the girls but then Cameron jumped on board, crazy how things work when he's not forced into it.
This song is definitely on every five seconds, but I don't hate it. I can't help but wiggle when it comes on, it's a fave of mine right now.
Two year old molars are coming with in strong. I feel bad for her, it's toying with her emotions and squashing my sanity.
I'm obsessed with all things head wraps-if you follow me on IG I confessed my life for them this weekend. Can't stop won't stop.
tutorial anyone?

Moving onward with obsessions, these leggings are probably my favorite thing ever on these two little lady's of mine. I'm hoping she's down for wearing them her first day of school. -but know matter what I/we pick out the night before, my little fashionista will change it that morning because "it's not right" and that's how she rolls.

We are officially on the hunt for a new rental-I hate this part. Seriously hate it, we've never had good luck and it's a battle field in our town for rentals. They are hardly available, and if they are their Is three people ahead of you. So we shall see.

Less than two weeks till the big day! - 12 days to be exact.
I'm finishing up chalkboard frames and what not and then pretty much whipping my hands of all things wedding. My dress fitting is this week and then family galore will be in town.

Ps. I've been keepin my eye out for a blog designer, if you know anyone who is fabulous and somewhat affordable please holla at your girl.

To RSVP or NOT

One Question:
Why don't people RSVP.
Seriously, I could not have made it easier with the pre stamped and address labeled envelope included.

We obviously  need to know for food count as well and chairs and just cause I'm psycho and need to know these sort of things. I can't tell you how many people have told me "oh mark us down for 3" and you know what I want to say (even though I love these people with all of my heart) I want to say
"what makes you so friggin special that I'll remember that." Really though.
Then we catch wind of people coming with at least 5 in their party-with no RSVP. This has
Happened more then once already.
It's frustrating, I just don't get it!

How do you feel about RSVP-ing?
Is it still necessary or am I just kicking it old school.

Crunch Time

I guess it's so called crunch time for our wedding.
I'm probably the most laid back bride to be ever. I mean I know how I want things and that's pretty much how they'll go...but seriously if something doesn't get done big woop. I'm just looking forward to the day. I'm thankful for my family that is letting me use some much stuff and helping me out major...now if only my brother was living in a state near me my life would be complete. I need him. Hes my DIY bandit and my party guru. I've literally been sending him photos via text message saying how do I get a little rust of this...or what should I do?

Well September is getting close and actually I feel like I have quite a bit done. With a couple bumps in the road.
-------------

.two days ago the wedding photographer I've had since before I was ever engaged backed out. He's a so called family friend that now sucks. Anywho, I have found and happily happily booked this photographer quick as can be. He surprisingly had our wedding date free and I lucked out big time.
.my nanny (grandma) has a ton of property filled with a bunch of antiques just chillen, claw foot tubs and all. I can't wait to dig through there after seeing all the photos my dad sent me. Woohoo! Me and my dad went antiquing this week and it was so much fun! Not only did we score on some vintage keys, and suitcases we had a blast together!

.the cake has been a done deal for some time, and I have the flower appointment next week! Some simple white center prices and my Bouquet so I'm excited to check that off the list.

.songs songs. Songs. This is going to killll me.

.diys-I have a great bf that basically made the first DIY project so far. OMG she's amazing! They are for the side of the road so people are prepared to stop and don't miss the place:) seriously so excited!

.favors! I can't decide on potted succulents or these flower bombs similar to this just packaged differently and probably more brown then white based on some directions I read. What do you guys think? Really!! Help!

.tables & chairs come with the venue so  that's nice, they are round tables with white chairs. I damn near have everything for the centerpieces which include, vintage books, lace, keys, and a jar of some type. I'm planning on throwing a little something together this week and if all turns out well like it does in my head, I shall share with you all.
