We did a fun little spring craft today and I thought I'd share!
Toilet paper roll, bird seed and peanut butter.
Thats it.
I let my littles use a plastic leftover party knief to rub the peanut butter on the toilet paper roll.
And as for the bird seed, I filled up a tupperware bin and let them roll it in about 1/2 inch of bird seed.
Heres to (almost) spring!
What a fun craft!!! My sister and I used to make something similar, only we'd smear the peanut butter on a pinecone and then roll it in seeds. Same idea - birds love them!
ReplyDeleteWe've done the pine cone version...but who has a pine cone laying around? Not me! What a great way to get rid of our TP rolls!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! And it is so easy. I'm sure the littles will enjoy watching the birds feed.

Love this idea and Drew would squeal with all the birds that would come around! Definitely doing this sometime this spring! Oh and I see you're from the Northeast... I'm in Ohio...where abouts are you guys at?
ReplyDeletePerfect! I was looking for an easy tutorial that Kale could do. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteomg what a great idea!! I've been having Zach save toilet paper rolls (for no aparent reason, just because I feel like they'll come in handy for a craft someday) and this would be so great to do with them when Bear gets a little bigger. Pinning this!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. We're looking forward to spring as well. I can’t wait to hear the birds chirping every morning. I missed those.
ReplyDeletesuper cute and easy! I am scared of birds.lol.not even joking.
ReplyDeleteyeah for spring!!
This is so cute and SUCH a good idea! Hopefully you'll get lots of birds!
