Fridays Letters

Dear Thursday: We kicked your ass thank you very much! We covered  a TON of ground! After dropping our comforter off at the dry cleaners and a trip to the grocery store our day consisted painting, deep cleaning my couch pinterest style, and finishing a Halloween wreath, Ohhhh and making some baby headbands for a friends baby shower this weekend. Let's continue this today!

Dear Weekend: You consist of two baby showers. Woah. .

Dear Bedtime: We screwed up Wednesday night but perhaps that made us even more happy when the girls fell asleep at 7 last night, back on track!

Dear NFL: OK, so I'm so annoyed with you money hungry animals. You cost my team a game that they deserved. That's not OK. It's terrible you let it get so far, thank you for making a deal with the referees now.

Dear Spetember: Only two days left and Hellloooo October. I can not freaking wait!

Reconnecting and Rejuvinating

This picture really isn't relevant to this post but eh? I like it.

This passed Sunday I had lunch with a couple of my old school best friends. A quick lunch turned 4 hours of catching up, and giving each other the play by play of our lives today. (A giant THANK YOU to Cameron for keeping the girls busy with endless puzzles and books and "spicy chicken" on football Sunday!) one of those girls I hadn't spoken to in over 5 years.

Freshly out of high school that said girl and I moved in together and 6 months later I was back home and living with Cameron. I knew he was something special and someone I wanted to pursue and invest my time in.

The say to never move in with a best friend and that's exactly what I did, and look where that got our friendship.

Our mutual friend asked us if we all wanted to do lunch together and we both agreed, and ya know what? I wasn't nervous at all. I knew times have changed and that if she agreed like she did, she was obviously over it and ready to move on!

It's crazy how easy our lunch was, nothing was forced and we laughed and everything was exactly like it was 5 years ago! It was amazing how normal it was, it was as though times had never changed! The only weird part about the entire thing is that they no nothing about the past five years.

They haven't met my girls. That's who I am now. They are meeting them both on Sunday at one of their baby showers and I'm excited for them to see that part of me. And for the first time in 3 years, no one new me as a mama, and let me tell you just the feeling alone is weird and un easy.

These past five years are what have turned me into the person I am. I am still learning and growing but I'm now a mama and that is the biggest definition that can be said. For those four hours at Red Robin catching up with old friends it made me realize how valuable life is and how lame young kids right out of high school can be!

I'm excited to jump right back into our friendships and see them both regularly! We've all grown up and are now all in the same spot in life.

Raising our families. I'm glad we've all reconnected because I've missed them. I've missed having
More then 1 girlfriend. Ive missed girl time and I've missed lunch dates with friends.

There has got to be a balance somewhere!

Wordless Wednesday!

Warning: NOT SO WORDLESS
Sometimes I let them leave the house like this. Non matching click clack shoes and all.
They were workin' it and this mama was proud.

My mom and dad have a pretty cool garden full of grapes, strawberries, all kids of gourdes and pumpkins, and it was so fun starting off our fall with a mini pumpkin patch!
October is probably our busiest month, we have so many traditions going! And if you have been reading this blog for awhile, I LOVE me some traditions.
We go to 2, (well counting my parents little patch 3)
different pumpkin patches one with friends and one with my entire family.
We have a pumpkin carving party night that is 3 years strong with my best friend and her family.
And many more activities squeezed in between especially with the littles getting older! They make everything so so much more fun.
Me and some girlfriends have thrown around some ideas this year, like a craft day, and a pumpkin switch day where we all bake something that consists of pumpkin and do some switcheroos.
Similar to a cookie swap.
I'm looking forward to all of these festivities and as of now, we will be one busy familia!

Ready October here we come.

What kind of tradtions do you do with family, and friends throughout October?

Things.

I'm sitting here with a cranky teething baby in my lap.
Shes now finally asleep and I'm afraid to lay her down.

So I shall write a blog post.
This week is moving right along and we are back into the swing of things.

Things.
Things are going well. We've managed to cross off half of my mini bucket list.
I'm thrilled that we are back on track with our dinners, and bed time schedule.
I feel like Ive redeemed myself a little with our bird feeders we've made, our picnic at the park, our trip to open gym and their chocolate milks with whip cream on top from Dutch Bros.

I've de-cluttered and gone through their clothes. I've condensed our living quarters and I still have some more to do.
I've decorated for fall and my house smells like cinnimon.

And we still have a couple more days left in the week.
Im back in the game!

The Night I Lost My Freaking Mind

In spite of this damn appendicitis I have decided to talk about so much, I stayed with my mama for a couple days because my Mr. had a trip that he was obligated to in Northern California.

The plan was my sweet parents..and the best grandparents in the entire world were going to take the girls Thursday and we would meet them up in the mountains on Friday.

Well, plans changed and the Mr. didn't get home till Friday instead of Thursday. Do you know what that means!!!
I had an entire night to myself. MYSELF.

I mear thought of that set my into mama heaven. I honestly can say that I have not had a night completely alone in over 3 years. If my parents had the girls, I had the Mr. If the Mr. was out of town, I had the girls.
I definitely took advantage of that...at first.

I went to Target alone, got a manicure and pedicure, ordered me some Thia food because the Mr. despises it. Came home to a spotless completely organized house, because being on those pills was comparable to Speedy Gonzales. Yes I was a cleaning fool.

Then ya know what happened. I lost my shit.
GUYS!!! I completely lost it! I had a minor anxiety attack and started texting the Mr. and my mama. I didn't know what the hell to do, and I have no idea how to be alone anymore. Especially when its dark outside and you have no idea what to watch on TV because you never get to watch it anymore.

The Mr. replied and always knows how to make me laugh.
MR: Will you please calm down and stop scaring our dog! Enjoy yourself.
Well of course that made me laugh because he already knew I was freaking our dog out.

Next thing I did was text my Bestie and she scooped me up for some ice cream as she was driving her little monster to sleep. It was perfect timing!
Thank goodness for her because I was hysterical.
I feel silly now but I missed them, all of them. I don't know how to be alone these days, and frankly I don't like it.
Sometimes I may complain of mama duties or the fact that I just want "10 freaking minutes to myself!!" but the truth is I love my busy chaotic life and I'll probably always reflect on that night alone next time I'm complaining.
Because I really lost it!
And here they are right before they leave to go camping with Nana and papa. Yes they both picked out their outfits and their boots.
Mini Fashionistas.
Oh and I also asked Raygan if she was blowing a kiss to daddy, and she said "no I'm giving attitude!!"
Can ya see why I missed these boogers?

"I want a baby brother"

"I want a baby brother"
I've heard that three times today, and boy is girlfriend hitting home.
My girls are growing up way to fast and I don't have a baby anymore.

I' ve noticed it this week more then ever with my limitations instructed by the doc.
They told me I wasn't allowed to carry my girls, at first I nearly had a heart attack but they have amazed me.

Of course I have had a lot of help from family and friends
but honestly they have done great.

It's been no secret that I'm not done having babies and I would have a couple more if the Mr. agreed.
Baby fever is rolling in strong.

For the time being I'm going to soak up every square inch of my beautiful girls and get ready for fall, that we all can't wait for!

MIA

Hi guys!!
This past week and a half has been pretty intense and full of surprises. Which would explain the lack of blog posts. So I'll fill you all in!
We went on a veryyyy minute camping trips and had a blast! The girls had the time of their lives being dirty and playing outside all day.
As soon as we came home I had mile high stacks on laundry and last minute party decorations to finish/purchase for my grandmas 70th birthday I was in charge on planning Labor Day weekend.
We piled up in our Tahoe and drove 5 hours to see my family for the birthday party, we stayed with my sister which is always loud and crazy due to 5 kids in a little house.
The party was a success and super fun!
The next day I woke up sicker then a dog and had to drive 5 hours back home. Our 2nd row has the "captain seats" rather then a actual bench, which landed in my favor because I ended up squeezing my body  in between chairs and slept on the floor the entire way home. It was just to uncomfortable sitting in a chair. The girls being entertained by "Dora."
I continued to be sick for the next couple days but did manage to get one major wedding planning "to do" checked off my list! We found a location and it is set and stone!

Friday night the pain became unbarable. And of course Remy was burning up with a temerapture so I had my brother (whos license is currently suspended) drive me to the E.R. and Cameron stay home to try and comfort our little girl.
A couple hours and uncomfortable tests later we found out I was in pain due to a pendicitis.

I called in the troops for watching the girls and came out of surgery shortly after.
The nurse proceeded to tell me that I now have a heart murmur which I have never had before in my life and will soon be checked out.
And that I can not lift anything over 5 lbs or drive for over a week and a half.
Ummm helllo! Someone please tell this women who my kids are! They are needy, cuddly, loving little girls who are used to being carried and held more then most.
Even my three year old.

Cameron had to go out of town due to some work so I have helped maped out for me all week. Im having a mama sleepover tonight with my best friend and after that Im being shipped (or at least thats how I feel) to my very own mamas house where I know she will love to take care of me :)

So for the time being Im home, and happy, and pretty damn sore.
I'm going to do a couple seperate posts about our camping trip (because there are some pictures Im just dying to share!) and the trip to my grandmas!
I hope everyone is doing well and having a great Monday!
....I can't believe its Monday, I've been living in a blurr.
