Pizza Pinwheels

I made these babies today for lunch for the girlie's. My girls love their pizza so I thought I would give this a shot when I found the recipe.
My oldest is the pickiest kid in the universe...she gets that from her dad, (cough cough). so when she swallowed two down in a quickness I knew it had passed the test. This is the first recipe Ive shared because needless to say I'm not a world known chef. Although I am attempting to cook for the sake of my family. I found this recipe on pinterest and hope my girls would like it because it was simple and fast!

Ingrediants:
1 Pillsbury pizza crust
Olive oil
1hanful/or cup of Mozzarella shredded cheese
1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 cup or however much you desire of peperoni slices
some pizza sauce for dipping

Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2. Press dough into rectangle
3.Cover with olive oil
4. Sprinkle garlic salt, cheese and peperoni
5. Start with one side and roll into a large log
6. Cut 1 inch peices
7. Place rolls on greased cookie sheet
8. Cook for 10-12 minutes until brown on top
They loved them! Im excited to add this to the list of lunches :)

Bright Sunshiny Day

I'm am so happy that we had such a bright and sunny day after our whole family came down with a mad cold. Raygan broke a blood vessel in her eye from coughing so hard. I hate seeing my babies sick, but I swear its worse when they can full on talk. Her words tore me apart.

Yesterday we woke up to the most beautiful day ever!! No need for tights under the skirt even! So we took advantage, took a trip to Hobby Lobby, followed by Target of course, went to open gym, then finally met the Mr. at home to walk to our neighborhood park!

I seriously can not wait for this summer..sprinkler parks galore, parks, and lots of trips!

We even brought our dog George. Poor guy doesn't get to go on as many adventures since the kiddos arrived. But Remy adores him now more then ever so we decided to give it a go.

That was the start to a lazy weekend for us. Today we are stuck inside because of this crazy wind! Thats our weather for ya, never know what your going to get....we literally had snow a week ago!

Little Bits of Happiness

I loved the idea of Mrs Stephanie T's little bits of happiness series. You have to appreciate the little things in life or you don't have anything.

These freaking adorable shoes that I had purchased from Zulily, I'm obsessed to say the least...I ordered another pair one size up :)

My new purse I purchased at TJ Maxx.  I've been really into this burnt yellow color lately!
Raygans new sunglasses to add to her collection.
Looking at this in the morning, she wakes us up around 7 to snuggle then she goes back to sleep for a bit.
This face, she seems to be making it a lot latley.

Happy Day:)

Father Daughter Ball Recap

This was my 15th or 16th father daughter ball with my dad. We've gone through many groups of people that we attended, most of my old friends stoppped going once they hit high school, and me and my daddy have never missed one! With all the craziness in our life it just so happens to fall at a great time every year.

I like what our group consists of now. Me and my dad, Cameron and our girls, and my brother and my neice. We had a great time and once again I obsess on everything being perfect.

We called in Auntie for the hair.

Me and my Dad

This one is my favorite of Rayan, she just looks so pretty.

Pickin her nose! ahh

I took this at the dance, poor girl was so terrified. She was so overwhelmed with the 100s of people

Daddy trying to warm her up...

Life Lately

Lately we've been busy, and schedules are off. This week I'm determined to get these girls back into our happy little schedule because we are all tired. Really tired.

Raygan has swim lessons twice a week and dance once. She loves them and has made lots of new friends. I help out at the restaurant two times and I babysit one of my friends little boys two times a week also. I still say help out because I don't feel like I'm working, I'm literally there for 3 hours and to me its just getting out of the house and the girls get some special time with daddy.

After swim lessons for the passed month or so I've been going to my MILs to do our laundry...our washer is still broke and its literally putting a tole on me. Having to go somewhere else to do our laundry just doesn't work well with us. First off because I usually get other house work done while I'm doing a load. At my MILs I follow the girls around ever so gently and make sure they don't break any more of her antiques!

I nearly had a break down the other day and begged Cameron to get us a new washer after being at his moms for hours apon hours and coming home to a messy house with a sink full of dishes. Raygan begs to stay home, shes very sick of this little routine we have created. "I wanna stay home mama" literally breaks my heart and I instantly feel horrible.

Its just not fair to the girls, with how busy we've been then having to do that two times a week for 5-6 hours just sucks. It really sucks. and I'm over it.

Cameron promised me we would get one in the next couple weeks. Whenever that day comes I will be the happiest girl in the world.

We finally had a nice day here and we were all home to enjoy it! I felt like we owed it to the girls to go outside and have some fun. Im getting extremly excited for summer and this year is going to be so much fun {cough cough...easier for me} with a 2.5 year old and a 1 year old. Last year was a little tough at the water parks with a baby and the incredibly hot weather we have here. But nonetheless, we still hit them up every cpl days.
Yup she made daddy get in there with her. The both strolled around the cult-a sac in a hot pink Escalade. That had to of boosted his ego a bit.

I hope the weather keeps this up! Because we're going to take advantage of this!

Raygans Big Girl Trip

We were supposed to go on a trip to my sisters house near Boise ID this last coming weekend. But things got crazy at the restaurant and they needed some help, so me...the person who can never say "no" to anyone canceled out trip to my nephews birthday party. Our original plans were to take my brother and niece so we could all drive in one car. My mom called to tell my brother we decided not to go and shorty after that he called me

Brother: "Why didn't you tell me you guys werent going!"
Me: "Sorry I totally forgot, and I knew mom would anyway"
Brother: "Well could I borrow your car"
Me: "Yeah, when do you wanna pick it up"
Brother: "About one, Oh and can I take Raygan"
Me: I'm thinking did he really just say that....and all I could mutter was "let me ask cameron and ill call you back in an hour"

Oh my god. I didn't know what the hell to say. Just recently did raygan start to warm up to him. She is so petrified of boys for some reason, and always has. (her daddy loves that) Ever since she was a tiny baby she preferred grandmas vs. grandpas, she would scream when guys held her. Shes very shy, but once the kid warms up, you wish she hadn't :) She has come so far with my brother, two months ago I would've said hell no. But she and my niece have so much fun together and its a four hour drive.

So me and C discussed it real quick and he basically said go for it, your sister and your mom will be up there. I of course am panicking. Literally panicking. My sister hardly knows Raygan (i know it kills me, I wish we were closer) and my mom wasn't staying at the same place as my brother and Raygan would be.

I called him back and said it was a go. I packed her clothes in outfits and had everything organized for my brother, and lets face it my sister because I knew she would want my sister to help her with her clothes and everything else before my brother. That's just her.

That night I was freaking out, literally freaking out. I was already planning my lie to my brother on why she cant go. I talked with Raygan and she said she wanted to go see Koby, That would be my nephew and she knew it was far and she knew mama and daddy were staying home. I kept repeating "your going to go on a trip with uncle Casey and Lilly" and she was so stinking excited, "I'm goin to kobys party!!" yup, my kid loves party's.

The next morning, I text him as soon as I woke up and said she cant go shes sick, but you can still borrow my car. He was devastated, he was so excited to take the two up there. I call my mom of course, like I do in any crazy situation and she calmed me down and we came up with the decision to let her go.

My brother arrived at 1:00 on the dot and Raygan was ready to go, she had just woken up from a nap {I really tried to keep the nap off so that she would sleep in the car for him...didn't happen!} She gave me hugs and was so excited to leave.

I on the other hand was freaking out....freaking out I tell ya. She was to interested in her Beauty and the Beast DVD in the car (I hadn't put them in the car until that day so it was super exciting!!) that she didnt even want to say bye to me. I think she was a little nervous...or maybe I just like to think that cause I cant deal with the fact that shes a big girl and went on a big girl trip.

She came home Saturday evening to a re-arranged bedroom and a couple new outfits that just had to get to surprise her for her "welcome home" She was thrilled to be home and see mama and daddy and her little sister, but she had a great time and was better then he expected.
Thats literally the best picture I got, the glare was terrible and I dont know whats going on with that face....really!!!! seriously a weird half smile shes got going on there.

Im so proud of my big girl.

Wordless Wednesday: Sunglass to Sleep.

She wears her sung glasses to bed, oh yes she does. This girl is totally laying down for a nap watchin some Kai-lan and wearing her new shades. She wears them all day long, where ever we go, whatever we're doing shes got some kind of sunglasses on. We have created a huge collection!

Oh yeah, and she totally fell asleep with those bad boys on!

Picture wall display!

I have a huge wall with a lot of room to cover. I love pictures and love having them around my house. I didn't really know what I was wanted until I was done. I knew one thing was for sure that I wanted 8x8 photos but I didn't want to buy 6 8x8 frames. So I marched my happy self to hobby lobby to figure out what to do.

I was thinking canvases, but when I got to that isle I found these lovely things.
I'm not an artist so Ive never really seen them around. I got a whole package of 8 for less then 3 canvases would have been.

I adhered the pretty pictures to them by some regular old glue, and did all of the measurements for the wall then I attached them to the wall using the #m command strips. I use these things all over the house, they work well and I haven't had ANY problems with them

I love the way it turned out, it looks clean and fresh and it something I can change out regularly. (because I do that) with these girls growing so fast I change pictures a lot around here.

They are hung right over our "play corner" aka where we store all of the girls crap!! {toys}

Countdown for Father Daughter Ball

We've been spending tons of time at home lately. Which to me has been such a blessing, we are usually constantly on the go no matter what. We decided to cancel our trip this weekend to visit my sister and stay home. Along with staying home we've managed to go to our gym a ton, with Raygan in swim lessons its made us go a lot more, although I still haven't got up the courage to try the daycare..the first time was horrible! They both have grown significantly in the last couple weeks. It blows my mind!

Remy is all of a sudden saying "uh o" when she drops something and saying "more" when she wants more food. Girlfriend is working on "sissy" and it comes out like "ssssss"

Raygan is finally a good girl in public! We can go out to eat like normal families and not get annoying looks from everyone in sight. She used to be horrible so we pretty much boy cotted it for a good 4 or 5 months.
I don't have a little baby anymore. Its definitely been rough on me. I was already 5 months pregnant when Raygan was Remys age. Although I really want to wait awhile to have another one its still mind blowing to me.

We have our annual Father Daughter Ball coming up in a couple weeks! Its BIG around here. When I say big I mean freaking big. Me and my dad have been going for 14 years now. It started when I was in elementary school and thought I was way to cool for that, and so did he! I'm very much a daddy's girl but I didn't know how fun this so called dance would be. We planned on totally skipping out on it and going to a movie until my mom told us some of our friends would be there...bust. It ended up being so much fun for me and my dad we've been going ever since. We've watched it grow to the production it is today. It started out in a elementary school cafeteria with 6 dads and daughters and now its in our HUGE arena here, it went from one night in February to now 3 to accommodate everyone, thousands of people go now from all around Washington for that matter. It went from blue jeans and dresses to tuxes and ball gowns. I like knowing that me and my pops are the originals. I have 14 years of photos to prove it. I'm not going to lie when I say that there are not that many people my age that go anymore, I don't see the familiar faces I used to see but me and my dad are still kicking! I'm surrounded by hundreds of little girls in big foofy dresses who's dad is my age.

When we found out we were having a daughter that was the first thing I thought about, was how damn cute it would be for Cameron to take his little girl. He has taken Raygan two time and it will be Remys first year. It started out just me and my dad meeting some friends there to me and my dad, my brother and my niece and Cameron and our girls. I love the fact that I get to see what most moms don't! My mom never got the inside scoop on our date but I do with my girls! Maybe when they are older we'll go on different days :) but for now its fun, we dance all together changing girls. I'm very excited, I still need to go find my dang dress!

But of course I got the girls. Remy got hers from Cameron's best friend for her 1st birthday....I couldn't believe that a young single dude picked this out.

I was not planning on having them match until Raygan told me so. She wanted "another one" like sissys for her "big dance with daddy" Shes so stinking excited it kills me. I love passing on this tradition. Cameron thought I was lieing because I usually like them matching, but Raygan decided to tell  him to, oh and that she wanted a flower. ahhh her future boyfriends are in trouble my friends.

We will getting the girls...Raygan and my niece hair done and then heading out to dinner at our family restaurant with lovely pictures on our stair case there, then heading to the dance.

That was last years dance. Remember I JUST had a baby and was still sleep deprived!

Brother and my sweet niece

My girl and her daddy.
This year I WILL get better photos! Apparently I was a little occupied with a one month old baby last year.

Now I gotta get our tickets! :)
