Things Im lovin'

Hello! Raygan came into my room this morning and said "mama, Ray rays sick" and then proceeded to throw up everywhere. lovely. Two girls sick. And Raygan has her dance performance later on today. Looks like we will most likely be skippin it.

Remy Feeding Herself:

I strip her down to her diaper and let her at it haha, she loves her yogurt. She loves it, and not to mention it keeps her in her highchair forever cause shes so entertained. ohhh the mess....

Raygan Potty Trained:

I never thought I would see the day of having only one babies diaper to change! ahhhh shes completly done, with the exception of bedtime! And even that she hasnt had an accident I just put a pull-up on just incase :) Its so crazy cause they say kids do it on their own time....and boy did she. She is so dang stubborn she didnt want anything to do with it until recently! I tried! oh did i try! lol I give thanks to my neice lilly who stayed with us for a week and I know that kicked things into start!! Now I want to get rid of the dang potty chair and have her go in to toilet...im just completly grossed out by the whole potty chair itself and voted against it....but my little angle was scared of the big toilet and so the princess potty worked.

COFFEE:

Ive always liked coffee, just never drank it at home, I didnt think there was a point in making a pot of coffee if im the only one who drinks it. Its more like, "oh theres a starbucks....I think ill get a coffee" well Ive been wanting a Kurig for some time now and I was trying to think of ways to persuade Cameron to letting me get one. Well turns out I didnt have to because I got one for christmas from my parents! And im in love! I never realized how much I like coffee...wait a minute...how much i NEED coffee. I swear it makes me a happier mom these last couple mornings!

Their love for eachother kills me, I know the teenage years will be rough with them. But they have a built in best friend.

Excuse all the clutter...we're still in organization mode here.

Girlfriend loves to help mama in the kitchen, and Ive been waiting for it for some time. I love how much she is willing to help, and how much fun she has with it. She pours everything in herself and then she gets to decorate. I let her make her mess and we clean up later.

My own Pinterest Challenge!

Hello there! Ive noticed some big blogs out there doing a Pinterest Challenge and that inspired me to do my own! For me. One of my years resolutions (along with a lot of other people) is to "stop pinning and start doing" I want to challege myself to projects and make myself a more productive mama :) Ive been doing DIY projects for awhile now, before I started this little blog of mine. and I love me some crafts!

Some of the projects I will be doing will be motified, or not off pinterest and to heck with it, some of my crafts/DIY/whatever you wanna call it will be my own ideas that I came up with in my own little world. I will give credit to whomever i "stole" the idea from if it is not my own.

I am assuming that a lot of my projects will be home decorating as well as projects or even activities for my little girls. Remys first birthday is coming up so I know I have some projects lined up for that...and im behind. Thats what I get for giving birth at the end of Jan. For many more years Im going to be planning a dang birthday the same time as christmas time.

Ive very excited to start this!! Im hoping to do one a week....we'll see how that goes! haha. I havent decided which day yet! im guessing Ill be posting them on mondays, It will give me time to wrap things up sunday...aka our lazy relaxing day. ahhh.

This is my little ballerina at her dance performance....she danced, and sung her little heart out halfway through "no more monkeys jumpin on the bed" until she saw me in the crowd and ran straight to me!!

She has a dance performance tomorrow for a local New Years Eve celebration. Im going to hide cause I know she can do it if she doesnt see me!! She has progressed so much, and thats kind of the point of this class, besides the fact that girlfriend likes to dance! To get her to interact with other kids and be around someone other then me or her dad!!

Shes getting so big! Shes doing one year old things and it blows me away. Shes my sweet little girl who is turning into a little diva herself. Insisting she gets what she wants all of the time.

And it was a merry christmas!

Raygan woke up around 6 on Christmas morning and took one look at all of the presents and there was no going back to sleep for her. See we decided to not even put the presents out until it was actually christmas because who knows how long they wouldve stayed wrapped! She patiently waited a little while to wake up daddy and get the show on the road!

My family came over after our christmas morning was all done and over, I made a turkey and the whole sha-bang.  (i was so scared, it was my first!) and it turned out dang good if i dont say so myself! Im not the best cook in the world so i was happy it turned out good. It was fun hosting a holiday, makes me feel old haha.

 ahhh I cant beleive christmas is done and over! Its a slight reliefe and then super sad. Like Ive said before I love me some holidays! We did our usual Target run and I ended up coming home with a bag full of dollar section Valentines day decor. The Mr. gave me a hard time thats for sure! And on top of it Remys birthday is in just a couple weeks and Im not quite done with all of that! YIKES!

We've been busy organizing the whole entire house! I rearanged the girls room and took out the changing table in Remys room. It was starting to get crazy around here with presents tucked in certain hiding spots! My garage is currently taken over by my brother so thats not an option!

Both of them opening presents! Ray told me she wanted santa to bring her a butterfly...and I just so happend to have the wings for Remys party....only bad part was she insisted on wearing little sisters because they were PINK!

And last but not least! This was their big present from us! We planned on giving it to them after they had opened allll of their presents, grandparents presents and all. so we decided that the next day would be best.....until the girls were eating breakfast and all of a sudden i heard Raygan and her cousin lilly scream "A CAR" and ran out into the back yard. Genius...the mr. and my brother put it in the dumbest spot and the tarp flew off of it in the wind...see we have a sun room which means its all windows so you would think they would put it in an out of sight spot....think not. I had a big bow and everything, there was no grand entrence. I was so sad, then angry cause who would put a huge thing covered in a blue tarp right in sight!! ahhh, but it was all good ok.....I GUESSSSS!!! 

And holy cow do they love it! Thank goodness it was much warmer then usual here!

I did not want to get the pink one, I dont LOVE everything pink lol, good thing I had to girls right?

But they couldnt promise that the grey one would be here in time, and I knew that Raygan would love it more that it was pink anywho. And that indeed she does love. I see lots of cult-a-sac drivin in our future!

Merry Christmas Eve!!

I appologize for the lack of post this last week! Cameron has been able to be home all week so we've been soaking it in! And hes held down the fort with the kids while I finished all of the last minute stuff!  ahhhh this christmas is going to be so much fun!

Ive been busy planning Remys 1st birthday! For the rest of my life Christmas is going to be even more caotic because Remys birthday is right around the corner! And I love me some birthdays!

These are her birthday invitations! I had Jennifer from Jaebirdesign design them for me! Who also did my blog.

I sent her a picture of the plate and said I wanted polka dots and a butterfly on there somewhere and

Im very happy with the result! I never do pictures on the actual invite because I send one with either the invite or the thank you card so they can keep the picture rather then the entire invite! :)

I managed to find little tiny butterfly wings at the baby section at target. From the second we (and when I say we I mean cameron, i was set on elephant theme) decided on her party being that theme I have stressed and wondered how the hell im going to find her ones for her size instead on toddler!!!! Target never fails me :)

And we also ordered toddler size wings for the little girls that will be at the party too!

We are busy around holidays! Its hard deciding when to do what with each set of parents. So we do Camerons dad on christmas eve, my parents come in the morning after we do our presents, as well as my brother and neice, and then his mom christmas evening! Im used to waking up christmas and vegging out and watching football, i grew up in a small family so this is all new still! We've even cut out a huge huge dinner with camerons side out cause we just cant keep up! It doesnt give us time to enjoy ourselves and its hard on the girls!

Tis the seaon!

Have I mentioned I love the holidays?? My goodness, im trying to soak it all in before decembers long gone. We've had cousin sleepovers and cookie cutter cookie fun :) And tonight we are driving a half hour away to ride a horse drawn carriage and go through a foreste of lights! Super fun. There will be a santa but forget about that. Raygan was not to pleased to see him when we went to take our Santa pics. YIKES! hopefully it didnt scar her for to long.

Crazy cousins! Playing in raygans tent, literally the best gift for a toddler, raygan got it for her birthday but we waited a bit to get it up (cause she got a ridiculous amount of presents so we distribute them slowly :) And now we cant get her out of the dang thing! She has to show every single person who walks through our door she has to show them her tent! I ended up getting one for my other neice (not pictured) for christmas.

Making our sugar cookies! Such a mess! I have to sit back and remind myself multiple times to let them do their thing, and I can clean the mess up after. I cringe with every spoof of flour that flew through the air when they would clap their hands! YIKES!

Way behind!

This family is way behind on Christmas decorating, crafts, and everything! With a minor bump that lead me to the hospital for two days put us a couple days behind schedule! In my perfect little world I create in my head, I ideally would like to have my tree and everything up promptly the day after thanksgiving listening to christmas music drinking hot coacoa (or shoot even some wine) Which the MR. says "its not even december yet!" thats what he said to me when I was in the hospital bed stressing about our tree..."that just had to be up" but I suppose things like that happen, its life and I some how need to get one with it! We barely got the christmas lights up outside today.....DECEMBER 7! YIKES! I suppose we just have to leave them up a little longer and we got our tree up a couple days ago, We've been baking and having gingerbread house making get togethers and the whole sha-bang! I grew up having many wonderful childhood memories tons of them regarding Christmas all I want is to have my girls have fabulous memories instilled in their brain of our little family along with our crazy traditions. Yeah, the Mr. calls me insane and I worry to much about everything being perfect in their little lifes, and the minor details to every little party or get together, but I think thats what really matters in life are the little things. The minor details. I love them, and thrive on them. Like Christmas lights and gingerbread making parties! The past few nights, Ive bundled up Raygan and went on a drive around town to look at christmas lights (pst. forget that car rides put her to sleep!) but she does stay up long enough to look at some pretty awesome houses!

And last night was our Gingerbread house making party! ahhhh for the most part it ended up being the daddys doing most of the house because the mamas were putting the littles to sleep! while Raygan was up way way way past her bed time! ahhhhh but isnt that what its all about!?

Christmas shirts!!

Ohhh how i love pinterest! I found these christmas tree shirts on pinterest and I couldnt help myself, they were easy peasy! First i just decided what ribbon i wanted to use, which i have a ton to choose from. Then went to go get some fabric glue (i made sure the glue was would still stick after being washed) After I did that I cut the ribbion out in the shape of a tree...and then glued them to the shirt. literally that easy! I ironed down the ribbon after i had glued it just 'cause haha.
